Martin Panchaud, prize for the best album 2023 of the Angoulême Festival, will sign his book “the Color of things” in the Calado bookstore on Friday March 24.

Nicolas Boidard regularly welcomes comic strip authors to his bookstore, La Boussole. But the one he will receive on the afternoon of March 24 was recently awarded at the Angoulême festivalthe reference event in the field in France.
The color of thingsby Martin Panchaud, received the Fauve d’or of the festival, which rewards the best book of the year. A work that acts as a UFO with a particular and remarkable style. An atypical thriller that tells the story of a young boy who wins a prize that his age prevents from cashing in and who will live adventures that appeal to the reader’s imagination, both in the story and in the drawing.
“I found the album excellent, comments Nicolas Boidard. I contacted Martin Panchaud just before he won the prize a few weeks later”. An event which should attract comic book enthusiasts and which requires the Boussole bookstore to set up reservations, a book dedication not being a simple signature on the part of the author but very often acts as a true personalized work of art.
