Between 1993 and 2012, Hernan Crespo wreaked havoc on the football fields. From Argentina to Italy, via England, the 45-year-old ex-footballer will have marked the spirits and left an indelible mark in the history of the round ball. He was on Argentine television to talk about his past as a center-forward. The subject moved away from what was happening outside the field. “It was a lifetime experience. Famous, young … And you do everything … Test … Well, not everything … You enjoy … I didn’t miss a thing”.
The former AC Milan player was asked whether there were more women or men involved in the orgies he was able to participate in.
“Always more women!”, he blurted out. You should know that Crespo has been single for most of his career.
It wasn’t until his arrival at Inter Milan in 2002 that he met his wife Alessia Rossi Andra.
And the love of his life helped him turn his back on his mad dog life …
Speaking to the Brazilian site Sport, he added: “The truth is when I first met my wife I stopped. I made my football debut at the age of 18, met my wife at 27 and I never showed up with a girlfriend at home before my wife, so i was still single until that age. Today i don’t miss it and i’m happy with what i have and my family”.
The couple married in 2005 and are parents to two daughters, Nicole and Sofia.
He retired in 2012, ending an illustrious career that included stints at Parma, Lazio, Inter, Chelsea and AC Milan.
He has scored over 300 goals in his 19-year career. Currently the Argentine is in charge of the Brazilian club Sao Paulo. Coach since 2014, he obtained his first trophy by winning the Copa Sudamericana 2020 with Defensa y Justicia.
