Huawei is one of the Chinese giants with an extraordinary promise: to offer the best of technology at the best price on the market. The Huawei MateView GT has quickly established itself as a benchmark in the gaming PC screen sector. Quality of finish, 165 Hz, 27 curved inches, QHD… all that at a crazy price, especially when Fnac is launching a great promotion.

We’ll explain why and how a little further down, for now, here’s a list of the main features to remember that the most expert among you will realize about the quality of the machine. In the high tech world that we know well, the Huawei MateView GT is a well-known screen. The reason for this notoriety is quite simple. In its 34-inch version (also called ultra wide), the Huawei MateView GT has a soundbar. This is a unique feature that clearly sets it apart from the competition. On JV, we tested the machine and gave it an extremely good rating of 4.5/5.

Yes, but now, the big promotion of the day does not concern the 34-inch MateView GT but the 27-inch one. Without the eccentricity of its big brother, the 27-inch MateView is a little less well-known. This is a mistake, because the screen remains extremely qualitative. Especially at this price.

Huawei MateView GT features: a superb gaming screen

If you haven’t understood much of the list in the first paragraph, this end of the article is there to explain it all to you.

The most important characteristic for a gaming screen is probably the scanning frequency, given in Hertz. Basically, this is the number of times the image refreshes per second. Demanding gamers are generally looking for a screen with a frequency of 144 Hz. Here, we are on 165 Hz.

Then, to work, watch videos or simply enjoy the graphics of your favorite games, it is essential to look at the screen resolution. If Full HD is enough on the smallest screens on the market (generally, these are 24-inch screens), this resolution is no longer suitable as soon as you go to the size above. • The contrast of 4000:1 is a very good ratio for a PC screen slab. So you will have nice deep blacks.
• The brightness of 350 nits is quite powerful.
• Technology will is one of the most popular on PC screens. It allows a nice contrast and a nice fluidity of image for not too expensive.
