Former Bundesliga professional Joelinton (26) from Premier League club Newcastle United has been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. As the AFP news agency reports, the former TSG Hoffenheim striker was stopped by the police on Thursday night at around 1.20 a.m. local time.
Now the professional soccer player Joelinton has been charged
The footballer has now been “charged with driving in excess of the prescribed alcohol limit,” said a police spokesman.

Joelinton is due to appear in court in Newcastle on January 26. On Tuesday, the Brazilian, who moved from TSG to England for 44 million euros in 2019, shot his club into the semi-finals of the League Cup with a goal against Leicester City (2-0).
