None other than Justine Pelmelay will take the stage of The Voice Senior do her best to turn the four chairs of jury members Angela Groothuizen, Gerard Joling, Ilse DeLange and Frans Bauer. Justine is known to the general public for the singing duo Justine & Marlon and for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989.

With the song ‘Stay as you are’ she was the obvious favorite in 1989, but due to a dirty note she finished in fifteenth place. A moment that continued to haunt her, because in a video by Nikkie de Jager during the first semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, the moment was rekindled – much to Justine’s disappointment.
In 2005, the singer made another attempt to go to the Eurovision Song Contest. With the song ‘What you see is what you get’ Justine tried to get through the preliminaries of the National Song Contest.

The upcoming fourth season of The Voice Senior gets an extra episode. Due to the large number of ‘beautiful stories’ of the participating candidates, it was decided to make a total of seven broadcasts instead of six, a spokesperson for RTL said.
