Last Tuesday, the state government adjusted the Corona rules for major events, among other things. Sports clubs and their supporters benefit from the new Baden-Württemberg Corona Protection Ordinance.
New: No more recording of contact details in training and games
The requirements for data collection by organizers have been largely lifted. Contact data no longer has to be recorded in sports facilities and sports facilities, neither during training nor during games. However, the use of the Corona-Warn-App is still expressly recommended. In Alert Level I, which we are currently in, the 2G regulation still applies to spectators of sporting events. The vaccination or convalescence proof must be checked by the organizer upon entry.
What applies to athletes in training and competition?
In alert level I, the game and training operations run under 2G conditions. In addition, all interior spaces such as cabins or toilets may be used with a 2G certificate. 3G continues to apply to employees of a club (coach). There is no obligation to provide proof for children under the age of 6, for children who do not yet go to school, and for students under the age of 18. During the holidays, schoolchildren over the age of six and under 18 who have not been immunized are required to provide evidence of a test.
What applies to viewers?
2G is mandatory both inside and outside. Anyone over the age of 18 must also wear an FFP2 mask in closed rooms. Outside, if a minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be reliably maintained, there is no need to wear a mask. The adjustment also provides that up to 10,000 spectators are permitted outdoors with a maximum occupancy of 50 percent with the 2G plus rule. If an organizer only wants to apply the 2G rule, 5000 visitors are allowed. At events in closed rooms, the 2G-plus rule allows 4,000 people, and the 2G rule 2,000. However, the state also allows a maximum occupancy rate of 50 percent here – and not just 30 percent, as the resolution of the states of planned last week.
