Jakarta –
Property entrepreneur from Grobogan, Joko Suranto, disbursed billions of rupiah for the smooth running of this year’s homecoming. Joko admitted that he found it difficult when he returned home and repaired the roads in his hometown himself.
This father of three children revealed that the road in his village, namely Jetis Village, Karangrayung District, had not been repaired optimally for more than 20 years.
“From there I saw that this road was badly damaged when it rained. Even when I came home it was difficult to get to the location where I was born. Because there was an agreement with my three brothers, we decided to build a road connecting three villages,” said Joko Suranto. quoted from secondsCentral JavaFriday (15/4/2022).
This real estate entrepreneur and member of the REI of West Java Province said that the roads in his hometown had so far been badly damaged, muddy, potholed and rocky. So he always had a hard time getting through it every time he came home. From his personal pocket, he built a 1.8 km long road with a width of 4.5 meters worth Rp 2.8 billion.
The road that Joko is repairing is a district road that connects Welahan Village, Jetis Village, and Ngampu Village. This road is also right in front of the house of Joko Suranto’s brothers and the house of his childhood memories of his dead parents.
“I’m happy to see people who are now enthusiastic about enjoying the new road. I hope this road is useful, especially since it can improve the economy of the residents, who are mostly farmers,” said Joko.
