Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government of Costa Rica decided to refuse the arrival vaccine Covid-19 produced by the Chinese company Sinovac. This step was taken because the country was skeptical about the vaccine’s efficacy.
Quotes CNBC International who launched Reuters, Costa Rica has openly stated that the vaccine produced by the Chinese company is not effective enough to fight Covid-19 transmission. However, it is not explained in detail the level of effectiveness of the vaccine there.
“We have decided to refuse delivery of Sinovac Biotech’s Covid-19 vaccine for now on the basis that the vaccine is not effective enough,” the country’s health authority said on Wednesday (16/6/2021).
