Amidst this climate of tension, it was surprising that this reality was not reflected in the displaced Syrians, hundreds of whom, especially those living illegally, recently moved weeks to areas and villages where there was a real war and not just a psychological war, as can be seen. with the death of civilians as a result of Israeli attacks, as happened in Al-Bazuria, where a Syrian family including a mother and her children were targeted last Saturday.

At a time when the Syrian embassy in Beirut did not give any warning to the citizens of Lebanon, which are more than two million Syrians, MP Adeeb Abdel Masih is surprised by the situation of the Syrian state and the silence of relief organizations and the international . community, which always spoke about “the rights of displaced people and the need to protect them and ensure their safety in Lebanon”.

Representative Abdel Masih confirmed to the “Lebanon Debate” that Syria must invite its citizens to leave Lebanon to the safe areas in Syria, which have become numerous and for the hundreds of thousands of displaced people who are living in areas of Lebanon that are at risk of returning to war.

In this context, MP Abdel Masih points out that Lebanese delegations, including those opposed to the Syrian regime, are heading to Syria for several reasons, regardless whether on religious tourism trips or to participate in cultural or economic activities, or for health purposes such as. such as cosmetic surgery and transplantation. Therefore, Representative Abdul Masih focuses on the need for the Syrian government to ask all Syrians to leave immediately, knowing that the lives of many Syrians today are in danger, especially those who have recently taken refuge in militarily dangerous areas on the one hand. , and without state control on the other hand This happened after they were evacuated from some towns due to their illegal infiltration into Lebanon, it was decided to send issued by the Ministry of the Interior to send them away, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees opposed it. to endanger the displaced.
