VIVA – The Cikarang area, which is located in West Java, has become the basis for several automotive manufacturers to set up car assembly plants. One of them is Wuling Motors, which is one of the new players in the country’s motor vehicle industry.
The Chinese brand has succeeded in making surprises and breakthroughs, starting from consistently being included in the list of the 10 best-selling car brands in Indonesia to launching Sport Utility Vehicle or an SUV with advanced technology, namely the Wuling Almaz RS.
At the GIIAS 2021 exhibition, Wuling Motors also displayed electric car small size designed using the Global Small Electric Vehicle or GSEV platform.
Wuling admitted that since 2017 he has developed electric cars and their ecosystem. In its home country, this platform has been used to meet the needs of the community and has sold more than 650 thousand units.

This EV platform can be adapted to the needs of its users, has a small but roomy size, with the support of various safety features and aspects, as well as modern technology.
Wuling Motors sees that most Indonesians travel by car to cover a distance that is not too far and a maximum of four people. This is in accordance with the two concepts that exist in GSEV, namely small and comfortable dimensions and ideal for everyday use.
