You read that right, you can get a signed Samuel L. Jackson Marvel Snap card simply for playing the multiplayer game this holiday season. Superhero Deckbuilder has quickly become one of the best card games on PC this year, so it’s great to see loads of free rewards available for consistent players; although this is a bit strange.
All you need to do is log into Marvel Snap on Christmas Day to get Samuel L. Jackson’s signed Nick Fury card, and that will net you many other rewards as well. The Winterverse limited-time event will run from December 20 to January 3., with specific login bonuses available every day. Who knows, maybe the card will become one of the best Marvel Snap decks.
I’m not entirely sure why I find this so amusing, but the prospect of getting a virtual card signed by Samuel L. Jackson on Christmas Day itself is probably one of the funniest things I’ve read this year. That’s right, in addition to the holiday cheer and food on December 25, you can also get a signed virtual card.
I also didn’t miss how weird it is. It certainly looks like the signature of MCU star and upcoming Secret Invasion cast member Jackson, but it’s virtual. Even if you scribbled the available version on the cards, you didn’t write each one (or did you?). It’s still a pleasure to greet, but the situation around it can’t help but amuse me.
Samuel L. Jackson was also in that Marvel Snap commercial, so it makes sense at least on that level.
However, that’s not all in the Marvel Snap Winterverse event, as you can also log in to get free gold, power-ups, credits, and cosmetics. There are also a few snowy Marvel Snap card variants available for Rogue, Ebony Maw, Patriot, Rockslide, and Abomination. All you have to do is open a collector’s stash for a chance to get one, but make sure you do it during the Winterverse event.
However, if you want all the free rewards, make sure you log into Marvel Snap every day for the next two weeks. Don’t forget to start the game after opening your presents on December 25th too, if you want the Samuel L. Jackson autographed Nick Fury card.
