This is the story of Rita Gaviola, a Filipino girl whose past is heartbreaking. Rita is now one of the popular Filipino celebrities who used to be street beggars. He also came from a poor family. His father was just a garbage man.
Rita’s story began in 2016 when she was accidentally photographed by Filipino photographer Topher Quinto Burgos. At that time, Rita was begging on the street. At that time Rita was 13 years old.
Attracted by her natural beauty, Topher uploaded several photos of the teenager on the internet. And suddenly Rita went viral, and her fate changed.
A number of beauty queens then help Rita to get out of poverty. Miss World Philippines 2015 Hillarie Danielle Parungao, Miss International Philippines 2014 Bianca Guidotti, and Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong all took to social media to compliment Rita’s model-like body and beautiful facial features.

Since then, her name is increasingly known to the public until she gets the nickname Badjao Girl. Badjao are an ethnic minority in the Philippines.
Rita, who is now 18 years old, has now announced that she is ready to participate in the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 beauty contest. She revealed on her Instagram recently.
“Soon we will join Miss U,” Rita wrote in Tagalog.
Rita Gaviola is now a social media star. His followers on Instagram reached 188 thousand. On her Instagram, she now shows her life that has changed drastically, from a beggar girl to an elegant woman.
