Located in a landmark building in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood, this 185-square-foot apartment has been transformed by design firm Home Studios into an expressive and finely detailed home – perfect for a young family. The end result is a welcoming home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
In addition to the custom pieces from Home Studios, this apartment houses a thoughtful selection of furniture – both vintage and contemporary designers, including Chen Chen and Kai Williams, Sabine Marcelis and Max Lamb. We see countless curves, such as curved contours, a curved glass window with copper details and furniture with rounded corners.
The living room
On the wall is a custom Vesper Console from Home Studios, bookends by Chen Chen and Kai Williams. A Howard sofa by Egg Collective, Candy Cube by Sabine Marcelis and vintage Danish armchair are placed on a vintage French carpet from the 1940s. The walnut and rattan coffee table is from Home Studios.

The master bedroom and bathroom
A Landon Metz painting above a walnut and travertine bed by Home Studios; a Natalie Hererra vase on the side table. By the window, a vintage French lamp from the 1940s is paired with an Atelier de Troupe Jia chair.
Handmade mosaic tiles in the bathroom; copper cladding frames the bathtub. The bathroom cabinet is made of Arabescato Classico marble with Waterworks fixtures under a mirror from Home Studios.

The dining room
A custom Swing Pendant from Home Studios hangs above a Fort Standard walnut column table. Next to this are vintage Model 80 dining room chairs by Niels Otto Møller. On the table a Ceri Müller vase and Henry Wilson candlesticks. Kitchen lighting in copper and nickel custom made by Home Studios.

The kitchen
The brass slide cabinets are painted in Farrow & Ball’s Pigeon hue, with a Rosa Aurora Macchia Vecchia marble worktop and Waterworks fixtures. A custom-made copper extractor hood hangs above the stove.

In the hallway you can see oak and copper trim, with a Santa Caterina travertine vault decorated with a photograph of Jamie Hawkesworth.

Finally, the children’s room with a 1950s Vittorio Dassi desk and bookcase with vintage Moroccan Beni carpet. There is Farrow & Ball Calluna paint on the ceiling.
