This afternoon, Puncak Bogor applies “One Way” to Jabodetabek

BOGOR DISTRICT, KOMPAS.com – The Bogor Police Traffic Unit, West Java, has again implemented one-way traffic engineering or one way on Line Bogor PeakSaturday (7/5/2022) afternoon.

System one way applies along the Puncak route towards the bottom or Jakarta.

Bogor Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanuddin said the policy was taken to anticipate the density of vehicle volumes.

“Because we predict that there will be an increase in traffic going to Jakarta. So, we accelerated one hour more than the schedule that had been prepared,” said Iman at the location, Saturday (7/5/2022).

Faith explains, here are the rules one way at Puncak Bogor from Friday (6/5/2022) to Sunday (8/5/2022):

• 7.00-12.00 WIB, one way to Puncak Bogor (from bottom to top)
• 13.00-18.00 WIB, one way to Jakarta (from top to bottom)

However, Faith said, rules one way may change at any time according to the situation and conditions.

“Execution time one way can change according to the situation and conditions of the police’s discretion,” explained Iman.

He appealed to road users who will go to the Puncak Bogor tourist route to pay attention to the time of departure and are expected to obey the directions of officers in the field.

Monitoring Kompas.com At the location, the police were seen closing the road using water barrier at the exit gate of GT Ciawi or around the Simpang Gadog Police Post, Jalan Ciawi.

They seemed to temporarily stop four-wheeled vehicles that were about to go to the top or Puncak. So, for vehicles that want to ride, they have to wait for the system one way done.
