The police in Zeeland carried out thirty raids in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday between 04:00 and 5:00 in the context of a large investigation into the cocaine trade. Nine people were arrested.
More than four hundred police officers were deployed in the investigation called Operation Portunus. The police themselves speak of an “exceptional situation” because of the scale of the action.
