Thirteen trains on the Constanta-Bucharest route, delayed after the employees of a city hall cut the railway signaling cables

Traffic on the Constanța-București route was interrupted on Tuesday, where 13 trains recorded delays of up to 65 minutes. The reason? The employees of the Valu lui Traian City Hall broke the signaling cables while doing work near the railway.

According to a statement from CFR SA, the railway signaling cables were broken or sectioned at around 11.30, between the Valu lui Traian-Basarabi stations, by the employees of the Valu lui Traian Town Hall who were doing work in the vicinity of the railway.

CFR SA apologizes to the passengers

Due to this disturbance, the movement of 13 trains on the Constanța – Bucharest route took place under special conditions, with the guidance of the trains on the respective station interval by the railway staff present on the ground, delays of 5 to 65 minutes being recorded of the normal traffic schedule.
