The backdrop for this open-air festival is a special one: the culture days with a respectable program will take place from August 3rd to 6th at the wild and romantic Kösslbach in the village of Kneiding. It is already the third edition of the event, which is organized by the Scharfrichterhaus Passau.
The festival starts on Thursday, August 3rd with the Viennese band 5/8erl in Ehr’n. The band combines a wide variety of music genres – from pop, Wienerlied, jazz, soul to Afro-Cuba – and has created an unmistakable trademark with its special instrumentation.
The world music trio Cobario offers a Spanish night on Friday, August 4th. Their music – two guitars and one violin – has already cast a spell over audiences in Barcelona, among other places.
CubaBoarisch 2.0 were guests in Kneiding two years ago, this year the Chiemgau musicians are coming back to the Innviertel. Their music is a style mix of musical influences from Bavaria and Cuba, Landler and Salsa. Band member Leo Meixner, former singer of the CubaBoarische, celebrated throughout Germany, and the full-blooded Cuban musician and singer Yinet Roja Cardona let their souls really melt in a duo.
With the cabaret artist Sigi Zimmerschied from Passau, a loyal Kneiding fan is coming to the stage on Sunday, August 6th. He presents his new program “Dopplerleben – Eine Fälscher Saga” and returns to where he can be seen on the ice rink with the ice stock in winter.
The events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday begin at 8 p.m. (admission 7 p.m.) and start on Sunday at 7 p.m. (admission 6 p.m.). More under www.scharfrichterhaus.de
