News. The third collection of children’s stories “Lire en cœur”, an intergenerational project developed by the organization Apprendre en cœur, won a Coup de cœur award as part of the 3rd edition of the Au cœur de votre collectivité program, from Promotuel Assurance.
Apprendre en cœur is one of nine winners of a that is awarded as part of this program. In total, these nine projects will share a sum of $111,200, awarded by Promutuel Insurance in the Saint-Laurent Valley region (west sector).
Selection process
A submission period took place from March 1 to May 31, during which members insured with Promutuel Assurance were invited to submit projects that would benefit the community.
A voting period was then held between July 8 and 22, before the board of directors allocated the amounts to the various eligible projects.
Heart stroke
“Read in Heart” is one of the three Favorite projects, those which received the greatest number of votes from the public.
In addition to a cash donation, Apprendre en cœur also earns an advertorial page that will be published in the Coup d’œil.
