“I’ve played a lot of minutes in the preparation and I feel fit,” says Mijnans. “I don’t have any aches and pains anymore, I was struggling a bit with that at the end of last season. It will be an important year in my position at AZ. In the preparation everything looks good, so we have enough confidence towards the start of the season.”
Mijnans and his teammates will practice against Stoke City next Saturday from 16:00. The competition starts exactly one week later with the away match against Almere City. That match starts at 20:00.
