Presented as a “nickel-plated foot” by his lawyer, a young adult from Thionville confirmed this Monday, September 6 to have been the author of the attempted robbery at the Garche tobacco shop last Friday. Quickly arrested by the police, while he had taken care to immediately change his clothing, the defendant appeared on Monday before the judicial court of Thionville for immediate appearance. During the hearing, President Marie-Cécile Dupuy recounted the remarks he had made during his custody. Namely that he had stolen, still at the threat of a weapon – dummy -, the Norma store in Hettange-Grande, on June 22.
At the bar, the respondent defended himself by assuring that he had committed these acts “out of necessity, for food reasons”.
