Thionville. The young woman on a scooter hit by a car has died

Wednesday evening, January 27, Chloé Fontaine, a 22-year-old young woman riding a scooter at the Cormontaigne roundabout was struck shortly before 7 p.m. by a car heading towards Thionville center.

Supported in serious condition by the Thionville firefighters, the victim residing in Yutz, whose vital prognosis was committed, was transported to the Nancy CHRU. She unfortunately died of her injuries on Saturday evening, January 30. This Sunday, white roses and a portrait of Chloe were deposited at the scene of the accident in tribute to the young woman who left too early.

The driver and his passenger were heard by the prosecution, and an expertise of the vehicle was ordered. The investigation is ongoing.
