Wood, steel… The global shortage of raw materials is starting to make itself felt here and there. Delays that accumulate for private and public projects, prices which increase… the list of problems is growing. In Thionville, if the gateway to Europe has already experienced its share of setbacks and problems, since its installation last June it was very close to its site not suffering another hard blow, the fault to a difficulty in finding the steel necessary for its finalization. “This shortage of raw materials, steel in our case, inevitably causes delays at the end of the chain”, sums up the side of the town hall of Thionville.
