With a view to maintaining it, Thionville achieved a performance of choice by winning at Choisy-le-Roi this Saturday.
Baviera doubled the lead early in the game. The Parisian commuters restored parity (2-2), but Baviera insisted and, with the contribution of Quaglio and Martin, Thionville took the lead at the end of the first period.
The start of the second was not favorable to the two formations with three sterile minutes, but the Moselle formation found its ease in attack, thanks to Carré, Tomasini and Nosal, to make the difference at the break (3-9).
On the restart, the Lorrains, taking advantage of the numerical superiority, scored five times, including two penalties converted by Baviera and Martin, to distance themselves before the start of the last period (6-13).
Tomasini drove the point home (6-17) and Thionville, despite a certain relaxation at the end of the game, won a victory which did not allow the slightest dispute.
