More than ever, in a context of global warming, drinking water resources represent a major challenge for communities that are trying by all means to guarantee their food supply. For the Portes de France-Thionville (CAPFT) agglomeration community, the offer is multiple and largely depends on neighboring trade unions. The topic discussed in the city council since 2021 is now at the center of attention, especially since the CAPFT has a large mining reservoir in Metzange, capable of bringing it to self-sufficiency.
