The Lego® phenomenon is not new. The first toys were created in 1932 by a Danish carpenter, Ole Kirk Christiansen. The name comes from Danish words leg well , which means “play well”. Since then, miniature cars and vans have been replaced by hundreds of models and the brand prevailed in 2014 against the giant Mattel.
Lovers of these bricks and pieces to assemble follow one another and the concept appeals to both young children and their parents.
