In this year 2021 entering the lunar year of the metal buffalo, the School for All association in Vietnam intends to continue its actions on the other side of the world, despite the pandemic which is slowing down the enthusiasm.
Its major sanitary restoration project at Môn Son – Con Cuông – Nghê An college is almost completed (€ 37,500). Today, only € 3,150 is missing to see it completely completed.
Deprived of the Christmas market and its New Year’s Eve, due to a health crisis, the collective could not count on this breath of financial air, necessary for the completion of the work. Investment by the authorities
“Our investment has unlocked things at the local level,” says the president, who regularly visits the site. The authorities have decided to redo the roof and the toilets on the teachers’ side at the same time. The courtyard has also been redesigned, with slabs. Students, teachers, everyone took part in cleaning all the rooms before going back to their families. Today it is a beautiful establishment! ”
The college accommodates 510 students placed under the authority of 34 teachers. In Vietnam, all schools were closed from January to May 2020. For now, Vietnamese borders remain closed, with very rare exceptions. It is difficult to predict when they will reopen.
