Several groups, including the France Palestine Solidarity AFPS Associations in Thionville and Metz, are organizing the tour in France of amputee sportsmen from Gaza, accompanied by director Iyad Alasttal. He shot a documentary on these Palestinian footballers, during a first visit to France, in 2019, where they had participated in friendly meetings with the French team of amputee footballers.

In Metz Sunday morning
The delegation which will be present in Thionville this Friday, September 24, will be made up of footballer Naji Naji and team manager Fouad Abou Ghalion. Iyad Alasttal will present the documentary film he made, in the presence of the delegation and their French supporters, during a conference to be held the same day at 8:30 p.m., in the Belfry room. The guests will then travel to Metz where they will meet footballers from Borny on Sunday morning.
Iyad Alasttal had come to Thionville to present the film about a young nurse who had been killed in Gaza, in The Mreturn arches. He is also the director of Gaza Stories, a series on life and events in Gaza, which still continues.
