During these All Saints’ school holidays, the adolescents of the Accueil de Jeunes “Clic-Café”, accompanied by the Maison des Quartiers, organized gaming actions in partnership with the Lana France association, an association that organizes e- events. sport in the Grand Est.
These actions, supported by the City of Thionville and the Department of Moselle within the framework of Moselle Jeunesse, were offered to young Thionville residents aged 14 to 17 for two weeks. On the program: the commentator’s school, to learn how to comment on his favorite games. This workshop aimed to help young people gain self-confidence, through an activity highlighting them, as well as to work on their elocution and public speaking.
Another workshop was dedicated to the creation of video games around the Nintendo Switch. Finally, a multigaming tournament has been set up in connection with the Thionville structures supporting young people aged 14-17 (the Maison des Quartiers, with the Jacques-Prévert Center and the Le Lierre Center).
About forty young people competed until the final which took place this Friday, November 5, on the site of “Clic Café”, at the Côte des Roses. A great initiative to recreate the link between the social centers of the different districts of the City.
