We’re not going to lie to each other, Thionville could have won by four or five goals, no one would have cried foul. In the second half, the Trojan goalkeeper Garcia had the chance to be saved once by his post (51st), another by his crossbar (78th). The whole second half, or almost, they broke down the open doors of an opponent who, bravely, continued to try to produce play.
Thionville never trembled, especially since the FCMT finished the last quarter of an hour at ten against eleven, after the expulsion of Maigrot (81st), who came to put his grain of sand in an early scuffle.
