Thionville. 7.2 tons of solidarity love plugs

Plastic, yes, it’s fantastic. Thanks to the proceeds of the sale of corks collected via individuals, town halls, hypermarkets in the Thionville sector, the collective which relays, locally, the national association launched by Jean-Marie Bigard in 2001 continues its actions dedicated to people with disabilities and children in difficulty.

This year, 7.2 tonnes of raw materials to be recycled and recovered will once again reach Belgium, a place where they will find a second life. This renaissance will once again take the form of transport pallets; it will be sold at around € 300 per tonne.

Once again, Thionville is there with its little sorting hands. Retirees, people who willingly volunteer their time, and men and women followed by the Sainte-Anne family pension.
