Carnival in Valdoviño with six troupes

Valdoviño (A Coruña) will celebrate this Saturday a new edition of the Carnival Festival with the participation of six troupes from the region, which will take to the stage that will be installed under a tent in the amphitheater of the House of Culture. Before that, a parade will take place, starting at 5:30 p.m. from the City Council, and once it ends, the festival will begin. The local troupes Os Barallocas, Os Faros do CRA and Faranduleiros and from other municipalities Os Colludos (Ferrol), As Xoaniñas de Chao (Narón) and Os Scratchados (Fene) will participate.

Carnival and burial of the sardine in Ferrol

As is tradition, the Carnival in Ferrol will close tomorrow, Friday, February 16, in the Plaza de Ultramar with a children’s party, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a superhero theme and where there will also be a glitter bar, workshops, singing and photocall, among other proposals.
Next, a parade will be held through the neighborhood with the participation of 17 groups, starting at 8:15 p.m., which will take a tour of the streets Venezuela, Sánchez Calviño, Paraguay, Nueva de Caranza, República Argentina, Venezuela and Plaza de Overseas. Once finished, the Carnival Gala and the traditional burial of the Sardine will begin.
‘The Rock Legend’ concert at Sala Room, in Ferrol
