Last Friday, Apple launched the second generation iPhone SE – which it launched for the first time in 2016 – in 40 countries.

The new iPhone SE is the smallest available iPhone, and it is one of the most powerful smartphones from Apple, where an review of the (AnTuTu) platform for the performance of the phone showed its superiority over the iPhone XS Max more than twice the price of (iPhone SE).

As the new iPhone SE starts at $ 399 and runs on the latest Apple A13 Bionic processors, the same processor as the iPhone 11 series phones, it offers powerful good camera features, and battery life is more than enough for most people, so it is One of the best low-cost phones that you can buy now, and is a strong competitor to the leading Android phones.

Here are 4 things that get noticed in the new iPhone SE:

Small phones

It has been 3 years since Apple launched a phone smaller than 5 inches – during 2017 when it released the iPhone 8 – which it stopped selling after announcing the new iPhone SE.

The new iPhone SE is an updated alternative to the iPhone 8, but it comes with slightly different color options, runs on the fastest A13 Bionic processor, and offers more advanced camera features.

It is also easy to deal with small phones, whether you put them in your pocket, or when using them with one hand, for example: the operating system (iOS 13) includes a feature called (QuickPath Typing) for writing with gestures, and difficult to use in large phones. As writing with gestures requires using the phone with one hand, and trying to hold a phone like (iPhone 11 Pro Max) – which includes a 6.5-inch screen – with one hand while writing with gestures is very difficult, but with the new iPhone SE it seems very easy.

For Android phone users, with the launch of phones such as: Galaxy S20 Ultra and OnePlus 8 Pro, it is clear that smart phone manufacturers are currently focusing on large phones, and it does not seem that small phones with advanced features will return to the market again.

Back button

The new iPhone SE has a Home screen button that includes a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, instead of Face ID technology that first appeared on the iPhone X in 2017.

Many iPhone users prefer face recognition technology because it is safer, but it does not work well with the wearing of the face mask currently, and (Touch ID) also does not work well with wet or sweaty fingers, so there is no advantage to the advantage over the other, But it depends on what the user prefers.

Note that the return of the button may be a good tiding for many users who prefer its presence in the devices.

Strong scale cameras

Apple has developed software that is responsible for the camera system’s work a lot, with the A13 processor providing significant graphics and camera support thanks to machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, making the new iPhone SE camera take better pictures than the iPhone 8’s camera.

IPhone SE comes with a wide-angle, single-lens 12-megapixel rear camera with f / 1.8 aperture and supports optical stabilization technology and 5x digital zoom. It has a 7-megapixel front camera, f / 2.2 lens, and supports 1080p video shooting.

But the biggest change you’ll initially encounter is getting used to the small screen, and how this affects picture framing, especially if your current phone includes a screen larger than 6 inches. But the smaller screen is sure to be easier to handle, especially with its strong performance.

Powerful performance

The new iPhone SE works with the A13 processor, and it is the same as the iPhone 11 Pro Max – the latest Apple phones – which costs $ 1,200.

A review of the platform (Geekbench 5) to compare the performance of the two phones showed that the new iPhone SE scored 1333 points on the single core and 2971 points on the multi core, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max scored 1322 for one core and 3462 points for the multi core.

This means that for $ 399, you can get an iPhone that performs roughly the same as the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which costs $ 1,200.
