The Hengelo school hired Thijs Poelhekke, who in the past was a village poet in Raalte, as a teacher of Dutch at the beginning of this month. Poelhekke used to be a stand-up comedian and in that period – about ten years ago – posted many extreme, especially sexually tinted texts and images on social media. And that is still costing him dearly.
