One person was injured in a burglary at a house on Grote Peel in Diemen tonight. The thieves were caught, presumably by the resident, and then stabbed their catchers. The person was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
At around 8:00 pm, the police received a report of the stabbing incident. It is not yet clear exactly how many thieves are involved. According to a police spokesman, there are at least two thieves. They fled after the accident.
Police are investigating the stabbing incident and are asking anyone who heard or saw anything to come forward. Local residents with a video doorbell or dashcam are also welcome to share the images.
