When the employees at Romerikssenteret came to work on Saturday, they discovered that there was a lack of a cash register, an expensive bicycle and a set of keys. The center at Kløfta has thus decided to replace all of the locks.

The holiday peace at Kløfta was broken on Friday night by a burglary alarm inside the Romerikssenteret.
However, the guards found no signs of burglary at first glance, according to operations manager Ronny Samuelsen at the Eastern police district.
– The next day, it was discovered that a safe at a cleaning company had been broken into. There were also keys to the rest of the center, so now they have to change all of the locks, he says to VG.
In addition, a bicycle worth 90,000 kroner was missing from a sports shop, as well as a cash register with a capacity of 2,500 kroner, according to the operations manager.
The police have carried out crime scene investigations on the spot. They assume that there is only one perpetrator.
Romerikes Blad mentioned the case first.
Open as usual
– It was a bit of a message to get when you are at the cabin, says center manager Siri Heimlund over the phone to VG.
She emphasizes that the keychain did not give the burglar access to the entire center – only some of the shops. Nevertheless, the center has decided to replace all of the locks.
– We have implemented some immediate measures with a locksmith at the center to be on the safe side, but we have a pretty good overview, says Heimlund.
– There is no danger on the move, and the center has been open today. It’s bad enough that this happens, especially for the sports shop, but apart from that, things continue as normal.
