Thierry Carrel is a man who is busy in many ways, not only as a doctor, but also as a political and health policy voice. He is now bundling his activities in Carrel Cardio Consulting GmbH.
The company’s purpose included the provision of services and advice “in the areas of med-tech and pharmaceuticals, in particular education and research”. Carrel Cardio Consulting also offers “the planning, support and assessment of experimental and clinical studies as well as personnel recruitment in the areas of medicine and surgery. The company also aims to carry out reports for patient bodies, medical associations and courts, as well as to give lectures and organize conferences.” And finally, the company offers support in the area of cardiac surgery.
Thierry Carrel has also been working as a self-employed surgeon since last year, after helping to stabilize USZ cardiac surgery during his hospital career until 2022.
His consultation hours now take place in the CardioBern practice at the Lindenhofspital. The operations can be planned either in Basel or in Zurich.
