Thierry is over the moon. “It really is such a wonderful thing. Such a beautiful thing to experience,” says the politician beaming. The couple tied the knot last year. Thierry expects a lot from fatherhood. “A lot of love and a lot of joy. That’s what I feel. (…) I hope to see a lot of the mother again.”

The couple also reveals the sex of their first child together. “It will be a boy,” says Davide. Gender doesn’t really matter to the politician. “You hope you can help the child become happy and healthy. That’s important.”

Now that the baby has been in Davide’s tummy for 21 weeks, the couple can also make contact with the little hunk. “We can feel it already. That’s nice.” And what Davide is most curious about is the color of the eyes. “I am also curious how he will look out of his eyes later. Whether he also has green eyes, like Thierry. Or maybe blue, that could also be,” says the mother-to-be, who herself has dark eyes.
