The game takes place in a city full of haunted streets, dark tunnels and decadent mansions where they must survive and battle with inhabitants and monsters. Gloomwood is all about stealth, but players also get an arsenal of weapons with swords, revolvers, guns and traps.
Gloomwood is being developed by New Blood, who previously created the first-person shooters Dusk and Ultrakill. The company previously released a pre-alpha demo of Gloomwood, which is still playable via Steam† The game will be available in an early access title on August 16. The price is not known yet. According to the makers, Gloomwood takes inspiration and survival horror games from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
