The pandemic has long since officially been declared over, but the state is still paying out support services. The Ministry of Finance documents the sums: The government’s corona aid since the beginning of the pandemic has amounted to 47 billion euros. So much money was paid out for cancellation bonuses, sales compensation, fixed cost allowances and the like.
