Chelsea’s Brazilian defender, Tmore Silva, could face a large sanction from the Football Association of England (FA) for having violated the coronavirus health protocol for having a noble gesture with a stadium employee Craven Cottage.
Silva, ending the match against Fulham -which Chelsea won 1-0-, se approached a worker who was doing work at the stadium and gave him the shirt he used during the game. The action, initially, is not wrong; However, due to the covid-19 pandemic that is going through the world, players were prohibited from exchanging uniforms.
After being caught the moment he threw the shirt over the fence, the FA decided to open an investigation folder for the event and, subsequently, they will issue a sanction.
Due to the ruling that prohibits players from exchanging shirts, Tottenham made a great gesture with the humble Marine FC by gifting a new – and sanitized – kit to each player as a souvenir.
