Julieta Cueto Hernández, in charge of the Program for the Health Care of Children and Adolescents (PASIA) indicated that it is important for parents to review their children’s vaccination card to verify that it does not have a lag, otherwise, to attend the next two weekends.
The vaccines that will be applied correspond to the prevention of diseases such as tetanus, tuberculosis, mumps, rubella and measles, to name a few.
It is expected that on this day, about 85 thousand children will be vaccinated in this city. According to Cueto Hernández, the main backlog that exists at the border is in the hexavalent vaccine. Health authorities explained that part of the delay is due to the restrictions applied at the beginning of the pandemic.
