They will strengthen training of Basic Education students with Unicef ​​programs

In order to strengthen the training of Basic Education students, Educational Services of the State of Chihuahua (SEECH) will implement a series of innovative programs, as part of an alliance with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). .

Starting in November, students will have access to strategies that will allow them to develop their skills in different training fields, accompanied by social actions to complement education in a comprehensive way.

The key topics to work on in schools are: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, as well as Literacy and Bilingualism in Indigenous Education.

Likewise, they will receive workshops on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), violence prevention, and the inclusion of girls, boys and adolescents in migration situations.

The general director of SEECH, Teresa de Jesús López Ramírez, highlighted the importance of Chihuahua children having the support of international organizations that reinforce the actions of the educational system, to provide excellent training.

In turn, the head of the Unicef ​​office, Ignacio López Vergara Newton, thanked the educational authorities for the opportunity to implement the programs of this organization, whose support is essential for the development of minors.
