They will send stimulus checks this summer in the United States

As part of tax refunds or programs from different entities, several American states will send stimulus checks to their residents this summer. These are Maine, Idaho, Illinois and Montana.

In the case of Maine, the state will send the corresponding stimulus checks until June 30. This would be thanks to the Winter Energy Relief Payment. However, the entity explained that the interested taxpayers had to present their 2021 tax return.

This would be the second check they would receive, since the first was made in January 2023. In this sense, individual taxpayers receive a payment of $450.00 USD, while the groups receive one of $900.00 USD.

In Idaho, two stimulus checks have already been sent. The first of them, with an amount of $75.00 USD for a tax refund corresponding to the 2020 return. It is valid to clarify that this amount was received by each member of the eligible families.

In the second stimulus check, individual taxpayers received $300.00 USD as part of a special rebate. On the other hand, joint filers got $600.00 USD.

The last round of these payments began in late 2022, but those who haven’t received it can expect it this summer.

What about Illinois and Montana?

In Illinois the state has proposed two stimulus checks. The first is about a 2021 tax refund and the second is about property taxes.

The amount could be around $700.00 USD, and since the delivery process was late, it is expected to reach taxpayers this summer.

For its part, the state of Montana intends to grant a new property tax refund. The check could begin to be sent from the month of July of this 2023 until the end of the same year. In addition, with it the taxpayers could obtain a maximum of $2500.00 USD.
