They will proudly wear the Team Ñuble knit at the Araucanía Games – La Discusión

“These are my last Araucanía Games and I hope to be on the podium,” confesses the athlete from San Nicolás, Juan José Eriza, smiling, a member of the men’s athletics delegation and who will be present in a new version of the Binational Games of the Araucanía. Araucanía, Río Negro, Argentina, which will be held from November 12 to 17.

“Juanjo” will be one of the 143 athletes who will wear the Team Ñuble jersey with pride and enthusiasm, in the disciplines of athletics, basketball, road cycling, soccer, judo, swimming and volleyball, for women and men.

This Friday, in the Aula Magna of the University of Bío-Bío, Campus Chillán, they were given the clothing that they will wear in each of the competitions that will be held at the venues of Neuquén (athletics), Viedma (basketball and cycling ), Bariloche (women’s soccer, volleyball and judo), Choele Choel (swimming) and Cipolleti (men’s soccer).

They go for glory

“I think we will do well, every year we are improving and in the throwing area we look very good,” commented the men’s athletics coach, Alexis Quiroga.

The midfielder of the men’s soccer team, Pablo Toledo, exudes enthusiasm. “We are super prepared, focused on becoming champions and taking Ñuble to the best.”

“I would like to win a medal or improve my times,” confessed Keyty Camino, the swimming team.

Crucial support

The Seremi of Ñuble Sports, Julio Jorquera, valued the support of the Regional Government, which has financed the Ñuble Promises program to empower athletes and strategic sports, and highlighted the contribution of the public and private alliance and wished all the success to the delegations of the Ñuble Region.

Mindep-IND Ñuble invested $141,674,000 million in the entire process of preparation and participation in these games.
