They will present the Children’s Reading Plan book collection of the Nectandra label – News from Trujillo, La Libertad, Peru

(Trujillo).- This Saturday, May 6 (7:00 pm) in the Banco de la Nación Cultural Center, Orbegoso 652, the Children’s Reading Plan book collection published by the Nectandra Ediciones label will be presented.

The event will have the participation of the editor and director of the project, Carlos Santa María, who will be accompanied at the table by the prominent plastic artist Oscar Alarcón and the national poet Gloria Portugal.

In addition, there will be a storytelling show by David Hoyos and an exhibition in the adjoining room of the original illustrations of the collection, exhibited by the plastic artist Oscar Alarcón.

This collection consists of 12 books and was conceived as an alternative Reading Plan designed especially for children between the ages of 6 and 11 who seek, in addition to instilling in them the reading habit, to highlight the highest exponents of Liberteño literature in its children’s aspect.

In addition to established names such as Jorge Díaz Herrera or Danilo Sánchez Lihón, others of no less importance are added, such as Carlos Sánchez Vega, Gloria Portugal, Ángel Gavidia, Dina Sánchez Baca, Jorge Barboza, Miguel Arbildo, Josué Vallejos, Leonela Rojas, Esteban Meza Correa and Enrique Carbajal.
