Carlos Salais Jr., from the Phoenix Band, will perform the iconic songs of Frank Sinatra, in a tribute concert that will be offered at the Mazatlán Museum of Art, on Friday, March 18, at 7:00 p.m.
Frank Sinatra is one of the most popular icons of classical jazz music, and throughout his professional career he recorded more than 1,300 songs and participated in more than 50 films.
The most representative songs that he will perform are that’s life, New York, Strangers in the night, the way you look tonight and others.
Carlos Salais, actor and performer, has surrounded himself with music throughout his life because his father and uncle are musicians.
Around 2013 he began to compose his own songs, sharing the stage with artists such as César López, Dharius and other artists.
Salais recently finished recording his first professional EP titled “In my other life I was Tony Montana”, produced by Aivan On The Beatz (music producer noted for working with artists such as Adán Cruz, Robot, Natanael Cano, Richard Ahumada, Dan Sánchez, Yoga Fire, Kid Sun and Simpson Ahuevo).
The tribute to Frank Sinatra promises to be a charming evening where the public will be able to enjoy the best melodies and classical interpretations of his music. The ticket to access the concert costs 300 pesos and can be purchased at the museum offices, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
