The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation will invest 8 million 879,113 soles in the execution of the project “Improvement of the Water and Sanitary Sewerage System in the Traditional Huanchaco Sector” in the district of Huanchaco, province of Trujillo, La Libertad region.
This was reported by the mayor of Huanchaco, Efraín Bueno, who indicated that more than 5,000 families will benefit from this public investment project, which seeks to reduce the rate of infectious diseases, which mainly harm children and the elderly, and thus improve the quality of life of the population.
“With the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, we have already managed to get more than 8 million soles approved by the Supplementary Credit Law so that traditional Huanchaco, the Los Tumbos and El Boquerón sectors already have a new system in the water networks and sewage,” he said.
The burgomaster also highlighted that, by the Public Sector Budget Law, the project for the construction of tracks, sidewalks, curbs and green areas for the Las Lomas sector was signed with the same Ministry of Housing, which is valued at 5 million soles.
