Once in the department of Cesar, walls of houses and billboards with graffiti from the Gaitanista Self-Defense Forces of Colombia were searched, this time in the municipality of Manaure, which generated fear among the citizens.
Some people indicated that the population is quiet where they live from agriculture and tourism, so they are afraid that illegal groups will take over the territory. The call is to the authorities of the public force to establish security measures.
In this regard, the departmental government secretary, Eduardo Esquivel, indicated that in recent days they have carried out pertinent actions for the AGC graffiti in different towns.
“We are carrying out the respective investigations, as has been defined for the municipalities of Chiriguaná, Pueblo Bello and Valledupar, where similar events have been recorded in recent days, we will do it in Manaure, all the institutions ready to provide the necessary security guarantees to citizenship,” the official explained.
