GÓMEZ PALACIO, Dgo. (OEM).-The human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination day has begun at the technical secondary school number 68 “Jaime Torres Bodet”, the goal is to serve 196 secondary schools in the Laguna region, so the Allocate approximately 11 thousand doses for 13 and 14 year old girls.

He also stressed that they will collaborate with the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) and the health services.
He explained that they will apply by jurisdiction about 5,200 doses and from other health institutions 5,800 vaccines, to apply a total of 11,000 doseswhich correspond to the overall register of the Educational System of the Laguna Region, which includes 196 secondary schools in the 12 municipalities that make it up.
The state official also said the vaccine is aimed at women aged 13 to 14, as well as those girls in the first and second grade of secondary school, “For now and to facilitate the application of organic, priority will be given to educational institutions, given the proximity of the holidays,” he said.
He said that a vaccination center will later be installed at the Isauro Venzor Health Center, to which all girls and young women aged between 13 and 14 who are not schoolchildren will be able to go.
