This Thursday, the second session of the National Meeting for a Security and Justice Agenda will be held in San Luis Potosí, convened by the Judicial Branch of the Federation (PJF), with the aim of promoting a space for collective reflection to identify priority problems in this area. of security and justice in Mexico.
The Federal Judiciary Council (CJF) reported that through a participatory and plural process, it seeks to generate concrete proposals and strategies that address these challenges.
He indicated that for the PJF, the meeting represents the largest in-depth consultation and listening exercise carried out in the country, in which users of the security and justice system, representatives of civil society, litigants, members of the federal judicial powers and locals, as well as academics and public servants.
He recalled that 14 sessions will be held throughout the country, with the participation of the 32 federal entities, and in each of them at least 15 work tables are organized around the four thematic axes of the meeting: Access to services legal; Security and justice; National justice delivery system; and Justice and accountability.
He added that the results of these sessions will be made publicly known and it is expected to contribute to establishing a National Security and Justice Agenda that addresses the real problems in the aforementioned matters.
Prior to the holding of the work tables at the Casa de la Cultura Jurídica in San Luis Potosí “Ministro Antonio RochaCordero” (Venustiano Carranza 1830, Col.
